For now i have a perpetual smile plastered on my face despite the commotion around me at home. I hear doors banging and mua brothers shouting but im still smiling. I guess this is what 2 months in NS does to you -to learn how to close your ears and eyes when there's disturbances around! ;)
So yes people, ive officially "Graduated" from Kem Setia Ikhlas, Ulu (yes, as in "buruk")Semenyih. You can see a stamp on my face that says "PASS INSPECTION ISO 91200 NATIONAL SERVICE".
Bye bye rules and regulations and hello to civilisation and mummy and daddy!

Oh and by the way, i think i do owe Mr Spokesperson a big thank you, so THANK YOU!Be happy that im not SUING you and CHARGING you for DEFAMATION. :D Especially since you've been taking advantage of my window of expression to "memburuk burukkan" my name. I've got fans k :P haha. But arigato all the same! ;)
As for now, my future has been decided and i have one more week to enjoy before a new phase in my life starts on the 19th. It's an exhilarating feel altogether to finally have something to look forward to in life. So..here's to a new chapter in this blessed life! Cheers peeps! ;)

This is the latest happening of Miss Kan Ming Choi
Did you see her at the national day parade yesterday?She was marching in her uniform with the other national service trainees..anyway some updates..if you've tried calling her sms her and you can't get through..its not your fault.Her handphone got stolen (its nothing new in NS camps) and she suspects a guy whom she had a misunderstanding with,stole her handphone..she was terrified at first and scared her parents will scold her,but she ok now and her parents didn't scold her..she's asking some guys in the guys dorm to get back her hp..anyway her credit was about RM4..if you want to contact her,you stil can,but its her friend's hp at 012-3629277..other than that,some of her 'personal' belongings also got stolen,you can ask her what was stolen??
For those who deeply miss her,not to worry..ming choi will be back home on the 11 Sept 2005..for PERMANENT..Yes,she's coming out from the NS program earlier cause she's starting her law degree in Taylor's on the 19/9/05..so people,embrace her homecoming with full of smiles and hugs (eventhough you have to fake it) How she feels about this?mix feelings..on one hand,she feels relieved and happy to be out of the NS camp..on the other hand,she feels sad that she's leaving her friends in the camp who she bonded so well (ahem)
For me,i'm relieved that i won't be updating her blog anymore cause she's not paying me anything..other than that the meaning of peace will be gone when she's back..ARGHHHH

Hey.. hehe.. Well, im a lazy pig.I wanted to write about NS but.. the procrastinator and lazy piglet in me surfaced. I delayed everything till the last minute. And today im leaving at 4 pm.
Oh well.. Goodbye peeps. If theres anything of importance, my spokesman will relay it.
Another 6 weeks and ill be back to civilisation.

Like Eunice says, even though im back, im still not bloggin. XD LOL A bit lazy lo. And also cos i dont have much time to spend back home,so i wanna utilize the time i have to the max to spend wit everyone. XD

YES,Im officially a Program Latihan Khidmat Negara (PLKN aka National Service) trainee, with the "official colours" to mark me as one of their own. My official colour is HITAM.Because that my friend, is how i look now. HITAM. OR rather in Yi Wen's words, like an Amazon. XD
To make my post short and sweet, id say that NS has been a total culture shock in comparison to my perfectly protected and plastickily urbanised world.And no im not talking about the fact that im derived of television,handphones or technology nor am i speaking of anything material.
Im talking about the fact that Chinese youngsters aged 18-19 in camp cant speak English or Malay and that their mother tongue is normally Mandarin n Cantonese.
The fact that most of them have dropped out of school at the age of 14 or 15.
That some are even married with kids.
That some have prison records and have gone to detention centres.
So people,i obviously have not seen much of the world. Hehe.
Although i was very sad and depressed those first few weeks,things have started looking up for me in many small small ways after 6 weeks there. When i get back next week (the 22nd August) it'll be my 7th week which will be spend marching around like walking machine because i am one of the "lucky" few who got chosen to joing the National Day Parade on the 31st of August. Define lucky for me people.Ish. Oh well.Acceptance is slowly dawning.
I obviously cant be posting up EVERY detail of life in NS for 38 days ( like what my friend Jolene in Kem Rimba Templer is doing on her blog) so ill write short short excerpts from my pink diary cum blog cum ranting machine cum venting toy cum plastic telephone.
Day One-10th July
I cried bucketfuls of tears today.Uncountable.If i did it would have been able to fill a dam. * exaggeration warning*
The bus drives away and im off. Thank the Lord that my cg mates and "family of 3" came to send me off as well. Will miss them loads.
Hate it here. People.Food.People.People.People.
Where are all the familiar faces of people i know?
Nonexistent.
Met some of my dorm mates. 2 chinese girls.Both typical Chinese. Mandarin and Canto all the way. bwargh. Things are getting bleaker by the second.
Trying to be friendly wit the Malays but all my "hello.My name's Ming Choi. whats yours?" seem to fall on deaf ears. Another frustrating sigh can be heard on my part.
All i hear today is jurulatih's screaming orders here and there and frightened people.
Everything is a mess.Me and the camp. Blek.
My day ends wit writing this entry and me crying myself to sleep.

1 hour back home in 18,Jalan Tengku Zainun Rashid 2, Taman Raja Nong,41200 Klang.
In other words, back in civilisation,comfort and chilling.

This is her spokesperson here...i know you all miss her very much..so i requested her to come back..at first she doesn't want to..but after some persuasion and begging...she'll be back starting next wednesday (17/8/05) night to sunday 21/8/05.Partly also to collect her result,so those out there who care about her,please pray for her results and God will prepare her heart to receive any result that is given.So whoever wants to meet-up or talk with her,u can call her on thursday.Have a nice day

Hi peeps,
As for now,I'm in Kajang fullfilling my duties as part of the Program Khidmat Negara (National Service).So you won't be seeing any blogging of yours truly for another 2.5months.The program ends on 30/9/05.I'm very sorry if this news is shocking to you cause i'm equally shocked too.I was selected to join NS last year but i defered due to my studies.So i was supposed to join this year and the letter never came eventhough i called them and they say i was supposed to join for this intake.But the official letter didn't arrived and i thought that i didnt need to go.But when i checked my name online on friday night,i was selected!!!Eeeeeeekkkkk!!!As usual the inefficiency of the government.Well,this leaves me saturday to buy neccessary things (which i have to ask other ppl cause i didnt get the list),say goodbyes to friends,open a maybank account,pack.But thank God that i manage to do everything.Eventhough its kinda rush thingy,but pls pray for me that
1)i will be able to adapt with the new surrounding
2)make friends easily
3)not to miss my family and friends
4)enjoy fully all the programs
5)good health and
6) God's protection upon me as you've read some 'not so nice to hear' cases happen in the NS camp.
If you plan to contact me,u can try sms me as i brought my hp there,but during weekends as my phone will only be returned at that time.If best that you sms me and not call cause i tend to cry when i talk over the phone with my dearest friends and family.I can't endure another crying session as i wish not to think of so many things and jus purely enjoy all the programmes at NS.If you wish to see me,visiting time is every 2weeks but you have to be accompanied with my parents as only family are allowed to visit,not friends (sorry).But dont worry about me.I'll be strong as i know my God will make me strong and thanks for all of your prayers.So see you all in 2.5months time.Hopefully this blog won't be covered by dust.Take care.

Reunion of the three witches
Finally after one month of absence from the 3 witches, i get to meet them again!
Finally,finally finally!
As usual, when it comes to Evochka Wong,all the plans we make will go awry.
Our initial plan was to meet in college * me,Eunice, Evo* to sell books FIRST den EAT.
BUt MS Wong was feeling hungry and didnt want to eat in Cabana ( where i was craving for the pan mee) so we ditched our initial plans and reversed the order.
From SELL FIRST and EAT LATER to EAT FIRST and SELL LATER! XD Hahah.
And guess where we ate? Kai Fan.Ipoh Kai Fan... Which i gotta admit..was quite disappointing.Evo ar,if you like kai fan/ipoh kai fan so much ar.. COME TO IPOH LA! Go On Holiday in Ipoh la! Ill be your tour guide! It's so so so much nicer there!! ;)
Evo and I looking "Dead". Do we? I guess we arent camera people ;) hehe
Sad to say,due to poor planning and lack of information of when the book sales were happening, we got... POOR BOOK SALES. Not even one book out of our ( Eunice,Evos and mine) combined books got sold. Haih. Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day for business ;) as we will be going very very early! At 8 am!
After finally waiting patiently for 3 hours plus, Eunice and i gave up hope and packed up.As Eunice was itching for a hair cut, we went to Snips in Pyramid to cut her hair. WE even dragged poor Hao Ern along. LOL. But he was a good sport. *Thanks NHE*

This being Ng Hao Ern's bored,semi-amused telling me " Oh ya, i Know i'm THAT handsome" look. hehehe. We were waiting at Snips for Eunice to finish her haircut. He was reading FHM i was reading FEMALE mag. What a combo! XD
And then sometime after that,we got kinda bored, so we camwhored a little bit. Hehe
Initially ar..that woman Eunice told me " I need a trim oni rite? We trim oni ok? Ok!"
Then when we arrived there, her 'head' got slitely itchy,especially the part on her forehead! She was thinking of cutting a fringe..It got itchier still when the hairdresser, Syida recommended her to try cutting her hair short. So , the result, was this!
TADA!! Doesnt she look adorable biting her fingernails??!! hahahah
LOOk at her sceptical and scared face! LOl.
She kept asking us whether it looked good or not. She didnt believe me at first until Hao Ern assured her it was.

After Pyramid,we made a stop at Parade as i had to get books from Salvation.And then, Eunice oh so sweetly dropped Hao Ern and I to the KTM. hehe. More like she also had to wait for her brother to finish tuition at 7 also la.Joking ni k ;)
BUt today was really really great fun! It's been ages since ive gone out wit them. Although the "ages" are a little exaggerated la cos its only been one month since i last saw them but we have been doing things 24/7 (also another exaggeration)! Go for the same classes,go for same breaks,makan together, study together,go out together, hang out together. Its as if an arm and a limb are gone if we dont do it together.hehe.
So, here's to the four of us. May we stay forever in each other's hearts and laugh our ways to a LAw degree
